Further to our update below, A super-sized beachfront apartment under construction at Burleigh Heads has sold for a record breaking $24 million.

The three-level residence in the Goodwin Terrace project, was claimed the title of the state’s richest-ever apartment sale.

Spyre managing director Daniel Laruccia said huge demand for Glasshouse’s original penthouse pointed to a “gap in the market for an ultra- luxury product in Burleigh Heads”.

“The amalgamated residence will provide the functionality of a very large home within a location that is essentially reserved for multi-residential living on Burleigh’s beachfront, Mr Laruccia said.

CDI client, Spyre  Group have smashed the Queensland apartment price record with $20 million Burleigh Heads penthouse sale.

he two-level penthouse in The Glasshouse in Burleigh Heads, which features one of the most impressive rooftops money could buy, has sold for not only an apartment record (both off the plan and established) in the Gold Coast, but the whole of Queensland.

In another record, a four-bedroom sub penthouse which is one of just six luxury apartments in Spyre Group’s exclusive Moray House development, has sold for $10.95m.

The 309sqm New Farm apartment (over $35,000/sqm) also has 37 sq m of miscellaneous space available to it that would ease its price/sqm to $31,600- one of the highest levels Brisbane has recorded.

Moray House hit Brisbane’s apartment price record in January when its penthouse sold for $15.75m (close to $20,000/sqm.
