Spend some quality time with us over your summer break, and we promise you will walk away with a profound insight into the inner workings of a truly specialised law firm, and a genuine understanding of how we provide market-leading service to some of Australia’s largest contractors and developers. At CDI Lawyers, we do not arbitrarily limit our intake of summer clerks, or graduates. CDI Lawyers is offering clerkships to all law students, not just students in their penultimate year – like other firms. We have come to realise that limiting the program to just students in their penultimate year is pointless and have seen first hand the significant benefits of encouraging students to obtain practical experience at earlier stages in their legal studies. All law students are encouraged to apply, so long as you have a genuine interest in construction law and keen to make a positive and ongoing contribution to our firm.
We aim to stockpile talented and driven students and young lawyers. If you impress us, a summer clerkship could be the first step in a long and rewarding career with CDI Lawyers.

If your application catches our eye, we will be in touch within 14 days after applications close. The next stage in our recruitment process is an interview with our Principals, Senior Associates and Associates. CDI Lawyers isn’t for everyone, so make sure you come prepared to interview us too!
