Modern slavery statement

CDI Lawyers stands against human trafficking and modern slavery.

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of human rights. At law, modern slavery involves trafficking in persons, slavery, servitude, forced marriage, forced labour, debt bondage, deceptive recruiting and child labour.

Whilst based on threshold requirements in the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), CDI Lawyers is not obliged to comply with the Act, CDI Lawyers is nonetheless committed to ensuring, to the best of its ability, that there is no modern slavery in any part of its business operations.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships, including by taking steps where possible to ensure modern slavery does not exist in our business or supply chain.

As part of our contracting process with third parties, we impose prohibitions on the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour or anyone held in slavery or servitude.

CDI Lawyers expects its staff and suppliers to share a common commitment to eradicating modern slavery.
